Steve Morton, President

Prior to joining Topa Properties, Ltd., Steve was the Vice President of Marketing for Sentient Jet in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the fastest growing providers of private jet services in the U.S. where he was responsible for all company marketing programs as well as a member of the Executive Committee.

Steve has over ten years of luxury marketing experience in the Caribbean, having held the lead marketing positions for both Little Switzerland and Colombian Emeralds International, two of the largest duty-free retailers in the Caribbean. In 1996, Steve went to work as the Vice President of Marketing and Operations for The Virgin Islands America’s Cup Foundation which mounted a challenge for America’s Cup XXX in Auckland, New Zealand, eventually merging with Team Dennis Conner in 1999.

Steve presently serves on the Board of Directors of the St. Thomas / St. John Chamber of Commerce and CARE (Charlotte Amalie Revitalization Effort). Steve received his B.A. in English in 1986 from Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York.

Christine Thompson

Christine was born in Brittany, France and raised in La Reunion, a French island in the Indian Ocean. In her teen years, she and her family moved to Martinique. After completing her high school education in Martinique, Christine’s aspiration to fly landed her a job with Air France.  In 1983, Christine arrived on St. Thomas, VI and has called the island home ever since.

Christine worked for AH Riise as the perfume representative for the renowned Nina Ricci line. After working part time to raise her two children, she spent four years as the Office Manager for Caribbean Computer Exports, a company distributing Apple products to seven French dealers in the islands of Guadeloupe, Martinique and St. Martin.  She joined Rudy Thompson Real Estate in 1993 and in 1996 began working with John Foster Real Estate where she quickly became a top real estate sales producer in the firm. In 1999, Christine joined Island Business Forms where she was the office manager until July 2008.

On a personal note, Christine speaks fluent French and is an avid sailor.  Christine was Regatta Director of the Scotiabank Optimist Regatta for 3 years and continues her involvement in Youth Sailing at different levels. Christine has also served on the board of the St. Thomas Yacht Club.
